We wanted to see the green project that you were going to show us the next week. PS I bought a sea-can to store my stash (and some retro furniture and some old jeans that are supposed to make camping blankets for the kids and grandkids).

Re: Wallowing in Yarn

31 bins! Wowza! I thought my 8 bins were a lot.... SWTC is having their yearly garage sale next week so let's see how much damage I can make. :-) :-) I may not be able to catch up, but it will be a next best step. :-) :-)

Re: Garbage Picking

The daisy chain was just perfect to use on my bear--- I was making a girl bear for the gift exchange at Chainlink in Buffalo and needed something special around the neck--so I made a daisy chain with beads to accent it --it turned out really adorable! Thanks for the cute pattern. It will be great for my students to use.

LOL!
My husband and I are dyed in the wool garage and yard sale afficianados. We also have a regular round of fave second hand stores, where they always greet us like we're part of the family.
I am seriously into 'upcycling' and absolutely LOVE it when I can bring another life to something that someone else has abandoned. Bliss. Pure bliss.
Here's to reclaiming, re-creating, re-purposing and to just plain fun in the thrill of the endless possibilities of trash- erm- treasures!
:o) Noreen
